How We Got Started
Inspired by the rich history of my 125-year-old home, I embarked on a journey of renewal, crafting rustic items that exude charm and character. From breathing new life into antique furniture to repurposing reclaimed wood, each piece we create is a testament to the timeless allure of natural materials.

Amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19, I found solace and purpose in woodworking, expanding my repertoire and skills and sharing our creations with loved ones. Their enthusiastic response fueled my ambition, leading to the establishment of Rustic and Renewed Decor. Here, we offer meticulously crafted pieces that radiate warmth and evoke a sense of nostalgia.

In tandem with my entrepreneurial endeavours, I have run a thriving business coaching and consulting practice alongside my spouse. Together, we have honed our expertise over 14 years, providing guidance and support to aspiring entrepreneurs. Our shared passion extends beyond the boardroom as we collaborate in our basement woodshop, turning dreams into tangible creations.
